storytelling

Organizational storytelling has become a core competency in recent years. The art is finding the right story and being able to relate it orally and in different printed forms. This is not an offshoot of copywriting; it's more the province of journalistm, even playwriting.  The process often begins with interviewing thought leaders in an organization, and developing a narrative that  explains  why the company was created and what the 'abstraction' is that holds the organization together.  Here, I wrote a story, under the byline of a CEO, describing his view of "value investing", which has been most famously championed by Warren Buffett. I also wrote the copy for these ads.  The photos were from stock; design by Allan Hayes of Emerson-Hayes.
